Follies filled the flowers by Jessica Ni Leacai

Oh little pleasures,
how they delight,so cynically.

Those sublime gestures,
how they requite, so mystically.

Their laughter lent,
how they soften, the saddening hours

And in our waking,
how they hush, the maddening flowers.
