No Candle To Burn by Jessica Ni Leacai

The thoughts leak through me

like liquid parafin

Wax in no shape, no candle,

wickless heart deliquesced.

Merely wasted me of light,

mishapen ornament bemused.

Empty moments like molten lava,

your excessive burning.

Demolition incurred to emotes,

inconsistencies of character.
