In Thought Provoked by Jessica Ni Leacai

I canted a cretin, a credent corpsial creature,
he heaving, a hindrance holding,hacking
and attacking, at my patience purely lacking,
lock down the hatch and hide the key, no fortune favoured shall he see.

Burying it deeply, digging durously, decent, extend,
earthly marl mixtures,  I claw the claying,
caustic compost, curling nails, to clasp cold, cremated
clodding, conceal, I,conspiciously the trove interned so secretely.

Came you, a cover up, casting off disguise, demeaning
detriments left in denies, seek soulessly,
a hidden hive, near nectared nodes and sleepless lies,
lay low, look high, this buried bounty shall never you find.
