Idly Entertained Enmasse by Jessica Ni Leacai

Conversing, she spoke, simplistically, so

they thought her seriously psychotically,

but cynicism sordidly scripted, minds meant for

more intelligable intergration, dumbed down in droves

Electrical applicianced articles, screens switched on,

the box built for  effortless entertainment, idle audiences,

glued together gregariously,  enmassed enjoyment of

inane ineptitude, common creations lacking lustre, notoriously nonsensical

Maybe,mediocricy, she pondered, precariously, determining,

devalued qualities quantified only in frailty flaunted, veiled vanity,

as if egotism eclipsed honour, love leaving, eloping afar with respect,

remorse and dignity, dust in decimals devoured no more, deflowered and dead
