Ecstasy Eliminated by Jessica Ni Leacai

Slumber evades eyes, gateways grieving, deep
dark sunken sockets eating a hole in the head, with want,
wasteful waking hours, watching momentarial madness,
all left in a life, stressfully striken, tiredness tumbling over

If dreams dragged themselves to being, how helpfully they’d
treat the poisonous peril inseeded, corpse chained down,
destitute, paths policed, no entry, nor exits, escape, alight it,
tear it all asunder, actions mind none the matter, ashes ascend

Haste has held it’s breath, betraying every escalade,
one can climb, leveling the lateral beams, but balance,
need not nourish, neutrality, straddling seats on sideway fences,
fend onwards, outwards, obeying orders  socially shadowed

Adequate attributes asymmetrically placed, potential
progess regressed ruefully, mirrors in a manse miscere,
insistent intervals, asking anxiously amnesia to attend, a
friction of forgetfulness, for such survivor seeking serenity
