Two Buildings, One Destructed

Two Buildings, One Destructed

If it weren’t you, callously, would it be

another, selfish, succubant, distrastrious and

deconstructing,oh but where would I be, what,

could I do, in moments, the demolishers descend

Tarnished as talons scraping, down these vacant,

vast rooms, tearing the blocks of me, as if this building, was

to be declared unfit for inhabitance, and company calling, unannounced,

at my windows panes, I seize shutters, gaping ghastly in protest

Unbolting, undesired doors, I let the danger in, no

sunlight beckons the prevailing darkness that dimmers, doorways,

the variant visitor casts no care on his casual face, ashened I see,

and a carousel of watering eyelids, winds me slowly out of tune
