Ire Ensued

Mindless mumbling misery, creasing folds of cerulean, opening,
and I sit here seething sordidly, the symbols etched,
graphically  transmitted components, phonetically orbiting
in membranes, signaling every careless thought imminently

But you said solemnly it was so, and none the less,  I coveted
truths muttered like discarded tissues in times of distress,
what common ground could one find in a forest, secluded,
wandering, two souls, separately seeking solace in want

Professed in vain, I, the reverist, in all that is absolute,
of beingness dreamt less defeated, nor longing desire
of abstract pleasures and pleasantries pleaded, had I
burdenly bound my heart in hope, servitude spent would refine me

Haply I’d dispel doubts in hours exhausted, rested, instances,
intwinned in country meadows confined, or near fires of amber,
beholding oceanic combers, crashing upon coastal shores, anticipating
diversions grasping, arduously snaring your wretched, wronged soul
