An Error Rewound

An Error Rewound by Jessica ni Leacai

You were all I had left to love,

You were all I had left to want.

You were unexpected pleasure when pleasure had no meaning,

You were laughter in sorrow when sorrow kept repeating.

Your eyes lit my hallways of madness

Your words floated down my rivers of sadness

Your face pressed softly in my car crash of devotion

Your hair knotted tightly round the pulses of crimson emotion
